Governing Forces is our follow up to dC/dt and is the most technologically advanced DIPA we’ve made to date by reexamining the basic properties of our new hardware. We’ve made several refinements to our new setup to bring more aroma and EQ juice into this beer. Governing Forces received a healthy dose of citra and amarillo supported by a mixed grain bill.
Governing Forces pours a glowing tangerine and has aromas of tropical orange zest, melon, and a distinct tropical character of EQ juice. The flavor is orange smoothie, melon for days, and dank grass with a gummy resinous character that makes your mouth chew if you man up and take a full sip. This all balanced by a soft bitterness to keep you going sip-after-sip.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 2/15/24
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves a pretty nice medium size island, and some pretty nice thick creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, mango, nectarines, peach, melon, apricot), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, papaya, pineapple, mango, nectarines, peach, melon, apricot), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive.

Tropical fruit, Citrus, melon, In the aroma and taste.
The beer needs to be warmer in order to appreciate the full taste profile.
The MF is excellent. Unusual for a.DIPA. Very smooth almost creamy. Not very hoppy.
One of the finest MF I’ve tasted in DIPA. Excellent beer!

Thick tangerine orange color, thin white fluffy head and soapy lacing.
Tangerine and melon aroma, slightly dank
Taste is citrus and melon, slightly grassy
Thick mouthfeel, a little astringent and prickly but soft and chewy. Finishes a little dry and a little sticky
Overall it’s pretty balanced and easy drinking

This beer pours a beautiful hazy orange with a creamy white head. Dank citrus notes, especially ripe oranges.
The taste has the ripe orange flavors up front, and there’s an herbal flavor as well. Really flavorful and easy to drink, which can be a challenge at 8% ABV. Really well done by a fantastic brewery.
