Mass x Acceleration, or Force, is the next in the series following Governing Forces and dC/dt that examines the basic properties of our new hardware. Mass x Acceleration is the first time we’ve blended massive doses of two of our favorite hops: Mosaic and Amarillo.
This juicy elixir pours a glowing tangerine color with aromas of dank orange juice with that melony EQ juice thing. The taste is orange/mango for days and melon flavored gummy bear juice.

Moving at full speed through what's possible in hops, Equilibrium grabs both Mosaic and Amarillo hops on their rout to a hazy destination flooded with their classic EQ juice.
Mass X Acceleration gets going with a pastel golden-orange color, limited in clarity by cereal and extra pulp. As a stern stone fruit aroma flows from its froth, the nose also shares citrus, tropical and candied fruit scents. Sweet, creamy and starchy early on the tongue, the cereal and malt profile is of shortcake, taffy, fructose and honey smacks.
The full fruit complement pulls from the hops as the ale splashes the middle palate. Juicy with seeming cantaloup, the flavors of apricot, nectarine and sweet dates create a sense of over ripeness on the tongue. With the background help of tangerine and mango, the fruit cocktail seems to keep expanding. Trending dryish and moderately bitter, the ale closes with black tea, hemp and fresh spruce in a balanced bitter profile.
Medium full in body, the creamy starches dry out beautifully in time for the beer to finish refreshing, crisp and off-dry for a high degree of drinkability despite its full taste early on. A medium length aftertaste extends on the after palate with peppery hop resins, cedar and tropical fruit rind.

Hazy darker yellow with a finger of white foam and thin lines of lacing. Smell and taste are the same: bitter hops with huge tropical notes: papaya, mango, melon, hot of guava, kiwi, and grapefruit with a pithy lead. Feel is decently dank with light juiciness, hop bitters crash in consistently in every sip, bright and drinkable.

Pours a very cloudy, opaque golden amber color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Citrus, piney and earthy aroma. Juicy citrus and resinous taste with some herbal quality at the end. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Opaque straw-colored without being chalky or thick; great drinkability for style. Leaves beautiful lacing on a clean glass.
The Amarillo's spiciness tamps down the Mosaic and keeps this beer from drifting into citrus juice realms. Makes for an interesting tasting experience with layers of flavors to pick out.
Equilibrium has an amazing base from which to make their many varied IPAs, but their skills rise to the top when choosing their combinations of hops and the respective ratios of each. This is another outstanding example!
Pint can dated 12/13/21 (49 days old). $6.29 single can (White Oak Marathon - Cincinnati).
