Polar Vortex was brewed right after we returned from Miami and nearly froze to death leaving the airport. This triple is a combination of Amarillo, Belma, Mosaic and Cryo Hops. It pours vivid yellow and has an aroma of a tropical fruit stand. The flavor is dank pineapple, OJ and tropical fruit for days with a soft but pointed juicy finish found in our #EQJuice. This beer is too easy to drink and like tropical drinks on the beach, some at the brewery are referring to it as blackout juice. We hope this beer mentally transports you to a warmer climate, please enjoy responsibly!

A: Poured from the can into one of those specialty IPA glasses (kinda tall and thin, with a flare of a bowl about one-third of the way up). Body looks like pineapple juice - hazy but bright yellow - with a small thin whitish head. Leaves behind a surprising curtain of lace.
S: Pineapple juice, a hint of garlic and a touch of blueberries. I notice the Amarillo on the nose at first, but then the pineapple juice overwhelms it. Mosaic is also in the house with those blueberries.
T: Pure pineapple juice. This beer may be the closest I've had to being a "pure" juice in both taste and feel. Seriously, this is like pineapple-orange juice, with a touch of something "green" - not grassy, not exactly piney, but a bit raw. The ABV is (allegedly) 10.2% - but I'll be damned if I can tell from the taste. Maybe a little bit of heat in the belly gives it away.
M: Juicy - really juicy - with basically no carbonation at all. Assuming they were going for the juicy feel, they nailed it.
O: Wow. I will have a solid buzz very quickly tonight, as this one doesn't want to make you drink it slow.
