Cold Fusion (8.0% DIPA) is Cold Fusion Energy from E=MC2, we took our MC² recipe and hit it with a massive dose of Cryo to make it our largest dry hop addition per pound to date. It pours hazy orange in color with an aroma of mango, pineapple and apricot with notes of citrus and fresh squeezed OJ. Cold Fusion tastes like a tropical juice drink composed of Mango, Apricot and assorted citrus fruits. The finish on this beer is highly resinous and gummy, it also contains a radical amount of #EQjuice!

Gotta say, I'm kind of shocked more brewers haven't picked Cold Fusion as a name.
Pours hazy yellow with a rocky and retentive head.
Smells contemporary: nothing but the hop profile with lots of mango and citrus. Nice, but somewhat one-dimensional.
Tastes like it smells: straightforward, fruity, and nice. Mangos up front, more generic citrus in the middle, and then some pineapple juice on the back end.

Reviewed on its release date. Poured from 16 oz. can into an Equilibrium snulip glass. It pours an opaque, dirty gold color with a creamy, milk-white cap and thin sheen of lacing inside the glass. On the nose there is lemon, onion, tangerine, melon, and fragrant hops. This is a dank ale whose taste opens with tangerine, tart lemon, tropical fruit, onion, pine, and flavorful Cryo hops that provide only minimal bitterness. It finishes slightly sour. As expected, the taste is very similar to mc² except there is less tropical fruit sweetness. It has a creamy, viscous mouth feel with a pleasant level of carbonation and it drinks below its 8% ABV. Overall, Cold Fusion is a typically fine DIPA from Equilibrium although I prefer mc² for its fruity sweetness.
