This is STRATA! (8.0% ABV). To commemorate batch 300, we used Strata hops for the first time with some support from a favorite hop, Citra. This beer pours a bright hazy yellow and has an aroma of passion fruit meets pot. Flavors turn into a battlefield of tropical fruits including; mango, passion fruit, melon, fresh berry with an underlying citrus flavor. Prepare for glory upon finish, which is a tropical build up showcasing our #EQjuice, which never surrenders.

Copenhagen 15/10 2020. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Metallic can with two stiff Romans with helmet and swords fighting awkwardly while the impolite designer has written “This is STRATA” across the scenery.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fermented sweet odor with exotic fruit and decay. Peach and blood orange. Alcohol. Citrus and lime. Hints of sharp mustard.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undercurrent. Finish is dry.
Pretty potent, well balanced and appropriately boozy.

No canning date found.
This pours a pale, murky amber with peach hues, An effusive off white head roiled up and slumped quickly leaving chunks and smears clinging from the lip. Fairly cloudy with a good dollop of unfiltered flotsam visible in the bottom of the goblet.
Aromas of orange marmalade and honey - good malt flavors and mouth feel. Citrus and floral flavor hops move in to compliment the creamy oat-malt character.
On the back end bittering hops take over with firm, almost sour grapefruit like bite, leaving a harsh, raw kale bitter aftertaste.
I am not a fan of Strata hops apparently.

Poured a cloudy yellow-gold body with good head and lace patches down the glass. Mildly citric and tropical fruit aroma. Lovely sweetness that comes across as pineapple and mango in a medium body that is really smooth. There is a touch of citric hop bite on the backend that provides balance and a touch of earthiness that is pleasant.

Pours a hazy light orange with fluffy head.
Smell is juicy with notes of passionfruit, mango, grapefruit, oranges and a bit of nectarine.
Taste is juicy and soft with a slight fruity tartness. Notes of passionfruit, mango, grapefruit, peach and lemongrass with a soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, with good carbonation.
Overall, a terrific DIPA, even though I'm not a huge fan of Strata.
