Pours hazy gold color with a nice off white head that faded slowly and left excellent lacing clinging to the sides. Smells of mild citrus hops with mostly grapefruit and tangerine in the nose, but the flavor bursts with citrus and tropical fruits which includes pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, orange juice, lemon zest, tangerine, orange peel, biscuit and graham cracker. Some piney notes and faint peppery spices trail as it fades on the dry side. Really tasty and enjoyable.

A: Albino peach/white nectarine in color. Luminous eggshell head...settles quickly.
S: Deeply sweet, fleshy, and tropical spellbinding aroma that fall short of magical. Fruit salad comprised of canned pineapple, cherries, melon fruit...more later.
M: Juicy, fluffy. Med. body.
T: Peach nectar and ginger-lime mules...what I would call a Dublin Peach. Significantly tart: bitter grapefruit juice x sweet juicy mango. Metallic aftertaste along with slight alcohol burn makes for a cocktail from a plastic cup.

Pours hazy pale yellow with visible resins, same as every other new IPA.
Juicy pineapple and mango aroma with some bitterness I can't quite place. It's nice.
Tastes a little off, maybe just different. Good overall but just... hmm...
Starts off like a boilerplate contemporary DIPA, big melons and pineapples. Then near the middle the sweetness just sorta dips into this... this flavor I absolutely cannot place. Kinda like ketchup, only that sounds disgusting and this isn't disgusting, it's not even bad, it's just good in a weird way. I dunno. The finish is more boilerplate, well-made DIPA: fruit-heavy with a bit of yeast spice cutting into it.

Purchased on May 11 on day of release at a Hudson Valley retailer. Very excited that Equilibrium now has distro somewhere on my transom.
Poured into Brown’s Brewing nonic pint glass. This may not have been the best glass choice, as it tends to make me want to drink the stuff too fast, but I’m eager to get this one decanted.
Pours hazy, with an off-white creamy head of fine bubbles, about one finger in height. Decent lacing as the beer goes down.
I spun the can before pouring not knowing what to expect in the way of particulate matter. There isn’t much to see through the haze, and no noticeable floaties.
I get pineapple on the nose continuing over the palate. Its sweetness is followed by a tanginess that is still overshadowed by juiciness.
Mouthfeel is creamy, but not milky or slick.
This beer lives up to the hype, glorious hazy juice to the bottom. Aroma persists to the bottom of the glass.
I will seek this one again, and hope to acquire more from this brewer.
Middletown, New York is on the map. Recommended.
