We used Particle Physics to manipulate Photon, and turn theoretical physics into reality. We took Photon, upped the ABV to 5.5%, and hopped it at the rate of the fractal series with a Citra forward hop bill. The result is an intensely hopped but low ABV crushable American Pale Ale. It pours a very hazy orange, releasing well-blended notes of dank apricot, tangerine, peach, mango, and pineapple. It tastes of soft juicy tropical fruits and hop resins. This drinking experience is further enhanced with a soft and billowy mouth-feel with a disappearing finish that has made this the new go to pale ale for the Equilibrium crew, especially now that the warm weather is season is upon us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A: hazy; deep gold in color; less than a 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate collar; nice lacing;
S: canned pineapple juice and pineapple;
T: canned grapefruit juice from start to finish; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; soft;
O: the canned pineapple juice character was a disappointment to me;

1.11.24 on bottom-left corner of label. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Mildly hazy lemonade hue with 2-finger off-white head with good retention and several rings of lacing down the glass.
S: Aroma is very good for the style with guava, pineapple, orange, passionfruit, and noticeable dank, herbal undercurrent in the background. Retronasal highlights the dank and citrus aroma notes.
T: Flavor is solid but a little light for style with pineapple, guava, orange, and dank honeysuckle serving as a clear background note. Esters are moderate and fruity-floral. Bitterness is low-medium.
M: Good feel for the lowish ABV with medium body and thickish finish without chalkiness.
O: Particle Physics from Equilibrium is a solid everyday type of hazy single IPA. I would love to have this around all the time at a solid price point.

IPA-American
This tows the line between APA and IPA. Low aby but still big hops are golden, grain style malt. The hops have an earthy, dry citrus, piney and peppery pineapple efffect. Light, juicy but still pillowy and couldn't agree more with the "disappearing" fin.

Had this beer poured from tap into a shaker pint glass. Hazy bright yellow color with a nice foamy white head and good curtain lacing. Decent citrus smell and fairly intense citrus taste. Mostly grapefruit with some grass. Smooth full feel. Good, not great.

Yet another beer from the 2 case order after paying the house off. Man I dug this one too even though they were all good.
Pours a hazy ass yellow beige pale ale. 3/4" white head. So far their hoppy beers have all had the same look, which is above average for style, same to be said of the head retention. Pushes a hefty amount of Citra hops as the commercial tug job asserts. Stone fruit, oranges and tangerine. I've noticed a lot of the Eq beers push that Citra/Nectaron hop thing, pretty cool, stone fruit represent (finally).
Taste is an easy low bitterness banger perfectly suited for the softball park. But screw whoever took my sticker off the entrance posts. Anyhoo, low bitterness leads to the feel of lower carbonation without it being problematic. Its sawft with a mineralish chalky presence. This is an ipa level hopped pale ale, and its getting to be the norm and I'm totally down with that even if only very nice, lacking evil. I'd love to have these on a shelf near me.

On tap in 10 ounce Pilsner glass.
Light wheat color, cloudy, thin white cap, lots of soapy lacing.
Stone and tropical fruits. Peach and nectarine, pineapple and melon mix. A touch of citrus, too. Dank soaked malt.
Lemon and orange citrus. Light pale malt. Some tropical and stone fruit blend.
Ultra smooth medium-light body. Zesty with a hop bite.
Pale ale base with fruit hop flavors. Mild and very year round suitable. I’d like another.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Tree House Willi Becher glass; canned 03/23/21.
A: Pours a nearly opaque, golden orange color with a four finger, fluffy, pillowy white head with one to two fingers of fluffy retention and thick rings of sticky lacing.
S: Aromas of pineapple, peach, mango, and lemon/lime predominate in that order.
T: Semisweet. Flavor are a nice melange of the nose with lightly caramelized malts. Light bitterness balances these out leaving a crisp, refreshing finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nearly creamy and smooth.
O: A gorgeously drinkable and refreshing American Pale Ale.
