It pours pale yellow and is cloudy with a white head. Head retention is very good. It has resinous flavors with some grapefruit and citrus. There are also some pine notes. It has a sharp finish.

Built like an alcoholic, herbal orange juice, Equilibrium's own EQ Juice gives this more reasonable New England-styled IPA a whole new and drinkable flare.
Pouring hazy, frothy and matte with a golden orange gaze, Solar Flare soon teases the nose with a citrusy, tropical and herbal perfume, not too far from citronella. The lightness of angel food cake soon follows in taste. Light, airy and hit with a dry cereal character, the malts are soft but drying.
With the hops blossoming on the middle palate, the citrusy complement from hops bring a strong orange, grapefruit and lime character while a backdrop of tropical fruit bring hints of pineapple, mango and papaya for that extra exotic zing. As hints of apricot, white grape and honeydew come to mind, the beer trends herbal in a late palate of green tea, verbena, hemp and an overall gin-like set of sprucy botanicals.
Medium bodied and trending light, the drier version of haze has a slightly more bitter-forward and drier sense of refreshment than is usual for such hazy ale, but this more simplified one limits its taste and scent but brings a greater sense of drinkability. An herbal finish has the beer landing on the drier side of malty-dry and with a medium length of piney and peppery hops.

pours like a NE Style ipa with the haziness. Bright white head that gives way to nice lacing. Nose is slightly apricot. Taste is very juicy slightly bitter. Great beer.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on August 11, 2019. A downsized Fluctuation grain bill along with loads of Citra. Aroma and flavor of passion fruit, pineapple, mango, and bright citrus with a soft but pointed bitterness, but in a summer crusher form.

Released 7/27/19; drank 8/27/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice eggshell head; thick, frothy lace.
Baking soda, peanut butter & mild orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Baking soda & mild orange citrus flavors up front; mild peanut butter notes on the finish.
A complete misfire, in my opinion. Permanent pass.

Hazy oj looking body with lacing and a faded white foam ring. Smell has peach, orange, pineapple, grapefruit and mango. Taste is surprisingly malty, with sweet tropical and citrus fruit juice and only a tiny touch of hops on the finish. Feel is juicy and sweet, hops again not as present as nose indicates. It's good, but nothing special
