The Koru is a New Zealand Māori term for a spiral shape that constantly evolves to symbolize new life and growth and resembles a fractal set. After thoroughly enjoying Super Fractal Phoenix Set, we wanted to grow Super Fractal as a series using hops exclusively from New Zealand and the Super Fractal Koru Set was born. Scaled up 3x from Fractal, we used a super simple grain bill of 2row and our specific fractal fermentation profile before intensely hoping it with Nelson, Motueka, Waimea, Rakau, and Wakatu.
Super Fractal Koru Set pours a vivid hazy yellow with an aroma of tropical citrus and lime. The flavor is bright candied orange peel, black currant, and white grapes with a light lime finish. This is a crazy one with some intense fruit tones. This beer is extremely aromatic and crushable with a big #EQjuice profile that might just leave you seeing beautiful and spirals shapes yet again.

IPA - Triple
Saturated earthy maple flavors come from a unique blend of hops and malt. Dry pine sap and maple like sweetness is both, intense and a bit abrasive. Intense drying effects make it a bit of a challenge to fully explore with the taste buds. Complexity high

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, dense, rocky head, clumpy lacing. Juicy, citrus aroma, oats. Taste is light citrus, mellow zesty flavors, orange peel. Thick and creamy feel. Absolutely delicious.

Pours a very cloudy opaque golden yellow color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is excellent as is lacing. Has an earthy Mango aroma. Juicy Mango on the taste with other tropical flavors to follow. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a dark orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of citrus fruit, hops, tropical fruit, malt, and a vinous quality.
T: Tasted of a decent shot of hops (not overdone, though), a good amount of tropical fruit (mango, in particular), a tinge of malt (mostly in the finish; not a huge factor), a decent bit of citrus fruit (orange and lime, especially), and a little vinous quality. This is a n incredibly focused, fruity and balanced flavor. Pretty tasty.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: On the whole, an easy to drink, well made DIPA. Worth a look.
