Pours a bright matte orange color. Completely opaque but not sludgy. Two finger white sudsy head dissipates leaving just a thin film of foam on top of the beer.
Aroma has notes of orange, candied orange peel, lemon grass, and some light grapefruit notes and some mango on the backend.
Taste follows the nose with some light notes of orange, mango, peach and cantaloupe with a candied sweetness, but overall rather muted when compared to how bright the aroma was. Light cracker malt backbone with a grassy, lemon grass bitterness on the back end. The finish has some of that astringent hop burn I occasionally get from these NE style IPAs.
Feel is medium bodied. Prickly bight carbonation. Mildly astringent finish.
Overall its a solid NEIPA.
