Collaboration with Obercreek Brewing Company
When Phil, Kyle, Chris, and John made their way to this side of the Hudson River, we spoke about all the good that is happening in the Hudson Valley for Beer. With more and more breweries producing great liquid, the Hudson Valley Region has become a beer Mecca. Linear phase represents the pinpoints between Middletown and Wappingers, both of our respective homes and all of the other spots helping to put the region on the map.
Starting off with a base of flaked wheat and flaked oats we used a whirlpool of Citra and Strata before dry-hopping this beer with Citra, Strata, and Galaxy. Linear Phase pours a beautiful creamy bright yellow with an aroma of tropical citrus and grass fields. Flavors of pungent orange, passionfruit, melon, and berry come together in a soft and creamy mouthfeel with our #EQjuice finish with just a touch of bitterness to round things out.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy honey-gold with a persistent off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is orange, pineapple, and a hint of earthiness. Mouthfeel is fairly thick, soft, and quite smooth. Finish fades to slightly sweet citrus and a touch of dankness. Overall, a very enjoyable DIPA from Equilibrium. I'd revisit anytime.

Cloudy, almost fuzzy in appearance, yellow with fluffy head and lacing. Citrusy notes of orange and passion fruit on the smell. Taste is tart and citrusy with notes of orange and melon and mild lemon. Creamy, light to medium bodied, mouth watering, subtle alcohol presence. Good.

A: The beer is very hazy pale brownish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose along with hints of lime.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of honeydew melon along with notes of lychee and hints of lime.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with lots of aromas and favors of melons but isn't that heavy on the palate and hides any traces of alcohol very well, making it easy to drink (if you can get past the brownish appearance).
Serving type: can

16 ouncer. I see no canning date or other freshness info. This a a collaboration between EQ and Obercreek Brewing Company
Fully hazed up, nice fine bubble cap, film and ringed and scattered fields of sheeting.
Oranges and lime on the sniff.
On the palate its more lime, some hop bitterness, and then oranges, and some grassy qualities. Tasty enough, but not EQs finest.
