Super Fractal Laboratory Set is the latest beer in the series. Just like fractals moving and spinning about, a lot goes into making a beer. SFLS pays homage to our laboratory and all of its moving parts, equipment, ingredients, and processes needed to make beer for a single release.
We essentially combined our simple Super Fractal grain bill and fermentation and applied the massive Citra hopping schedule of SOTL. SFLS pours a bright and hazy yellow. Aromas of citrus, pineapple, and grass with flavors of navel orange, ripe pineapple, berry and a touch of melon wrapped up in our #EQjuice profile. This beer has a creamy and soft mouthfeel with an extremely drinkable finish.

Pours hazy, almost milky gold, with floaties; ok cap retention; heavy ring; bands of soapy lacing; thin legs. Nose is sweet canned fruit cocktail from Del Monte. Taste is sweet fruit juice; no bitterness; fresh orange, pineapple and cantaloupe. Full minus body; no astringency but slight alcohol burn on tip of tongue; no warmth from 10% abv; moderate minus carbonation; smooth creamy soft feel. Overall, a delicious adult beverage hazy kid’s fruit box, well done, and I trust Equilibrium to deliver.

Here is a real ugly beer that is good, but not as good as its rating. First review of this beer on BA. Consumed April 2021.
Pours a murked out dull auburnish light brown color with no clarity. This beer is brutal to look at. 1/4" off white head. The aroma appears to be all Citra, but its those Citra hops (like double dobis from cellarmaker for instance) that share that rotting pineapple attribute as if it was Galaxy hops. Usual Citra notes of sweeter tangerine and orange alongside the overripe pineapple.
Taste hits much the same, the pineapple isn't as overripe as in the nose, but its still that pineapple Citra not pineapple Galaxy (fresher). The body is relatively creamy and notably absent is the usual territory bitterness level. They went hazy on this body and it works for covering the alcohol very well, but makes for an ugly beer. Its very drinkable especially for 10% abv. But its clearly not an elite tier tripa, not sure why the rating is so high. Good, not great.
