We know that Einstein’s findings state that Energy (E) equals mass (m) times the speed of light (c) squared (2), or E=mc2. The secret of the equation revealed that mass and energy are different forms of the same thing. Our Flagship beer MC² celebrates Einstein’s findings, but what if we tried to evolve from there?

New for Energy Evolution 2020, we wanted to continue to explore the MC² series, so we are bringing you Energy Evolved.

Energy Evolved takes a DDH MC² and adds a colossal dose of our most favorite batch of galaxy yet to the dry hop, our energy treatment, and a touch of lactose for smoothness. Energy Evolved glows on its pour with an hoppy explosion of flavors like ripe mango, OJ, papaya, and passionfruit fruit leading into a full citrus portfolio that’s blended with notes of pineapple gummy bears and tropical push-ups. This beer is extremely creamy and POPS with our #EQjuice finish.

Canned 10/21/23 (2 months ago)

Appearance: Pours a deep orange color with a medium orange color with a massive lacy white head that lingers. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange and grapefruit citrus, pineapple, some green, mango, skins and rainbow sorbet. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, orange juice, tropical pineapple, and some mango, skins and rainbow sorb underneath. Slightly smooth and sweet. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-body, average carbonation. Finishes juicy, mildly sweet. (4.25)

Compared to EQ mc2 1/2024: Pours identical. Milder aromas. More orange juice and citrus. Less yeast, banana, pineapple, and mango. More juicy and less yeasty. Smoother.

Compared to EQ Beyond Infinite Entropy 1/2024: Pours identical. More orange juice, pineapple, green mango skins. Less blood orange, fruit punch, watermelon. Juicier.

Overall: Energy Evolved, an addition to the base mc² released in 2020 that has the addition of dry-hopping and Galaxy.
The first impression of the Energy Evolved and its addition of Galaxy is good as it seems to have smoothed it out a bit and made a touch more juicy.

Cloudy yellow color. Big white head. Tropical fruits, melon, and bubblegum in the aroma. Moderately sweet with balancing hoppy bitterness.A good NEIPA.

Pours a hazed gold with 2 fingers of eggshell colored head. Nice head retention & lacing

S: Some light citrusy notes, green melon, guava

T: Guava, passion fruit, green melon, dryness & pomelo up front. Pomelo & Grapefruit, plus a little dryness as this beer warms up, a kiss of lime also. Finishes with lime. green melon, tangerine & a little dryness

MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, good balance

Solid DIPA, but wish it had little sweetness to balance out the bitter, still drinks pretty easy

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high dense white head that only died down a bit and left thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of mango and peach are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of mango, pineapple and peach with some hints of pine towards the finish. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer is quite complex and has a lot of complimentary flavors. It also drinks quite well considering its strength.

Equilibrium Brewery 'Energy Evolved' @ 8.5% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a yellow gold from the can to a hazy yellow gold in the glass with a large white head leaving a spotty lace along the tulip
S-dank & fruity , smelly (yet it's a good thing)
T-big tasting NE IPA , dank & fruity with a slight bitter finish
MF-ok carbonation , feels full bodied
Ov-could be considered a DIPA , it's that big of a beer
