Mesocyclone is a storm-scale region of rotation that can lead to a tornado. A Doppler alert was issued not too far from the brewery so naturally we took flight to investigate. What followed was an amazing almost UFO-like whirling structure complete with lightning bolts. If you watch the video to the end, the mesocyclone leads to an incredible change of sky color, sometimes even producing COTTON CANDY SKIES… but more on that soon…
We started with a base of wheat and flaked oats before a giant mesocyclone of El Dorado, Citra, Belma, and Galaxy in the whirlpool followed up with the same hops in the Dry Hop. Mesocyclone pours an opaque bright yellow with an aroma of orange marmalade and tropical fruits. Flavors of just squeezed oranges, passionfruit, and ripe peach lead into a creamy mouthfeel with pops of fresh fruit. The masked ABV is makes this beer tasty and flavorful while remaining totally drinkable for its size.

The beer pours a nice white foamy head that dissipates pretty quickly. The beer itself is a cloudy orange and yellow color that looks really nice.
The smell is good. It has a good mix of orange with a slightly tart peach and grassy pine note before finishing with a sweet passionfruit. There is also a slight alcohol note that comes out in the beginning but it quickly disappears.
The taste is good. It shares the same notes as the smell but leans more towards the bitter end instead of the sweet end (which is what the smell does). The peach note's tartness comes out a bit more alongside a grassy hop note while the orange is buried underneath. The passionfruit comes out in the finish.
The feel is good. It has a heavy but creamy body that strongly resembles orange juice. It has a very light tingling carbonation. It's also very drinkable and doesn't hit as hard as you would expect.
OVerall, this is a pretty good beer worth getting and really delicious.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish-brown color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head, Above average lacing.
S: A very good aroma of hops, citrus fruit. tropical fruit, peaches, and malt.
T: Tasted of decent bit of tropical fruit (passion fruit, especially), a tinge of malt (mostly in the finish; not a big finish), a good shot of citrus fruit (orange,in particular), a good shot of hops (less than expected, but still present), and the slight presence of peaches, This is a vibrant, easy to like, complex flavor. Pretty tasty.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well made, easy to like beer. Worth a try.
