The Tasman Sea is an area in the South Pacific Ocean, situated between Australia and New Zealand. Noted for gigantic waves of up to 1,000 feet high, these waves are actually ‘internal ocean waves’ which form, move and break like waves you surf, but do so deep down in the ocean. These mountainous swells move at about 6 miles per hour with massive force. When we had the opportunity to use hops exclusively from Australia and New Zealand in our pale ale, C, Tasman C was born.
Tasman C starts off with our pale ale base and a whirlpool of galaxy, enigma, and citra. We then dry hopped it with galaxy and nelson and gave this beer our Energy Treatment to enhance the aroma and flavor. Notes of passionfruit, orange, grape, and berry coat the palate before a soft and crushable #EQfinish. If you’re missing the sun and the surf, this beer definitely gives off beach vibes.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Light, straw yellow color - very translucent - with about 3 fingers of head that recedes very slowly with a lot of lacing. Light hop taste; subtle flavors of watered grapefruit. Decent.

No can date, but brewery release date was 10/12/20.
Hazy yellow, with 1 finger or so of finely-creamy white head, that leaves a 1/8" ring, a thin surface sheet, and 1/2" of half-coverage lacing. Looks like pineapple juice with a head.
Smell is initially mixed citrus, leaning towards pummelo. As the head dissipates, and the beer warms, some pineapple , white grape, guava, gooseberry, and (sweet)mandarin orange become apparent. Smells bigger & juicier than what(5%APA) it actually is.
Taste is grapefruit, guava, lime zest, bitter orange, slight (dry) white grape skin(raw grapes - not wine flavor) and a hint of dried pineapple. A grapefruit pith flavor lingers after finish.Drier than the aroma would suggest, with moderate bitterness.
Feel is light, with lightly creamy, softly prickly carbonation.
Overall, easy-drinking, and thoroughly enjoyable. The aroma seems like a double NEIPA, but the taste seems right in line with the APA description.
