Imperial Stout with Peanuts, Cocoa Nibs, Cake Mix and Lactose.
We took the base used for Almond Pop added Peanuts, Cacao Nibs, Cake Mix, and a touch of Lactose. Peanut Butter Swirl Bar pours pitch black with a khaki colored head releasing notes of peanut butter cup, chocolate chips, and Skippy. Flavors of gooey chocolate brownie topped with excessive amounts of crushed Reeseās Peanut Butter Cups morph into a cake batter like finish. This beer is thickest of the series and has a chewy mouthfeel wrapped up with a creamy decadent finish to bring you nostalgia in a bottle.

Drank my first bottle last night. Sitting about 3 weeks old at this point. Opened some what cold and allowed to warm quite a bit. And as it warmed this beer really opened up. I enjoy my pastry stouts to be a bit colder normally but this beer shined as it warmed. Also served in a 10 oz. tulip.
Look- Pours absolutely pitch black. A tiny amount of light on the pour. The beer forms a small dark brown head on it. Small compact tight bubbles with a little bit of bigger bubbles in the middle. The head dissipates very quickly. It has a very nice glass lacing leaves a nice brown lace on the glass.
Smell- This beer is a liquid peanut butter cup. It's nose is full of chocolate and fresh peanut butter. The smell is not like artificial peanut butter. It smells like freshly ground peanuts. The next thing you get off the nose is a huge hit of milk chocolate. It is strong but not over powering the peanut butter still fills the majority of the nose. A small hint of grainy smell as well.
Taste- The flavor profile is amazing. The pallet is pure liquefied Reese's Cups. It has a lovely chocolate flavors that is accompanied by a lovely fresh peanut butter flavor. I was scared going into this beer thinking it would be an absolute sugar bomb. But it is anything but that. It is mellow and super enjoyable. It is the perfect amount of sweet for me. It is amazingly balanced. There was a bit of peanut butter cookie taste as well.
Feel- Mouth feel is amazing. Super thick beer. I think the lactose helps out here with thickening this beer up. It was a super consistent beer throughout.
Overall- Favorite beer in this series so far. It is not as sweet as the others and I think this is why I like this one so much. This beer is absolutely amazing. My favorite peanut butter stout dominate stout I have had to date. Perfect beer to kick off Halloween weekend. If you like Reese's Cups this is the closets I have gotten to them in beer form. EQ has an amazing stout program. And their pastry stout game is next level this is another awesome instalment to their pastry stout line up.
