Our experimental series is back today with a new hop combination we wanted to explore. dHop 27 starts with a big base of oats and wheat and a hop bill of Simcoe and Galaxy to both the whirlpool and for the dry hop process. dHop 27 pours bright yellow, with notes of orange zest, pineapple, and lemon peel. Flavors of clementine, papaya, cantaloupe, and stone fruit permeate with small hints of pine, berry, and earth. Thanks to its base, dHop 27 has a soft and creamy mouthfeel leading up to our #EQjuice finish and a calculated amount of pointed bitterness.

This was excellent. Love the slight hop bite at the back. For a DIPA at 8.5%, this drank much lighter. Even having my last one of a 4 pack at six weeks old, it maintained a solid mango profile and strong carbonation.
