A data point or observation is a set of one or more measurements on a single member of unit of observation. All our beers across all our styles are based on data points. We felt it was the perfect name to test our newly hand selected Mosaic Hops. Starting off with a big base of oats and wheat, we aggressively hopped this beer with our 2020 hand selected mosaic lot in both the whirlpool and the dry hop.
Data Points pours a hazy electric yellow with a sweet aroma of citrus and berry with flavors of navel orange, mango, herbal blueberry, earthy lime peel, and the Devil’s Lettuce. The #EQjuice builds up into a creamy and complex finish with a pop of juiciness lending data that shows we truly do love our new Mosaic.

Pours a honey color with a nice head dissipating to a ring and patchy foam. Really good lacing.
Aroma is strong and fruity. Citrus and hops and malt.
Taste is great, all kinds of citrus with a nice malt sweetness.
Finishes nicely, not too bitter.
Just a little carbonation, which is how I like my DIPAs. A little syrupy even.
Overall a really fulfilling NEIPA!

On tap. Pours a very cloudy opaque golden color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is mild as is lacing. Has a sweet orange and earthy aroma. Kind of a syrupy taste. Citrus predominates. Medium to heavy bodied with mild carbonation.

16 oz. Can
Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya), a nice little sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

Can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy honey-gold with a persistent off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is mango, pineapple, and a hint of earthiness. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and quite smooth. Finish fades to sweet citrus. Overall, a very enjoyable DIPA from Equilibrium. I'd revisit anytime.

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (15% clarity) medium orange color with a massive white head that lingers. SRM of 8 with visible white specks floating in the beer. (4.50)
Aroma: Strong aromas of earthy mango and melon, Lots of mango mixed with a tropical melon note. Mango skins. Some sweet berry notes trail off the end. (4.50)
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of mango, melon, sweet pineapple. Lots of mango cream, mango skins. A sweet berry flavor lingers at the end. No bitterness. Sweet on the end. (4.50)
Feel: Heavier-bodied. Lower carbonation. A smooth mouthfeel and sweet finish. (4.00)
Compared to Burley Oak 100 Mosaic 8/28/22: Pours similar appearance. Stronger head. Stronger aromas. More mango cream, melon, berry. Less citrus rind and pine. Sweeter, heaver, creamier with more flavor.
Compared to Equillibrium dHop42 10/2022: Pours lighter and hazier. More tropical pineapple and melon flavors. Less mango intensity. Similar sweetness. More tropical and less green.
Overall: A banger of an NEIPA here. They nail it again with mango cream, mango skins, but with a tropical berry addition to it. Drinks dank and fruity, yet still maintains it's juiciness. Heavier and sweet, but soft and smooth to balance. This one is top tier and average to better than average for EQ. (Rating: 4.40)

Pours bright orange (Is that a real color?). Head is thick and has some sticking power leaving nice lacing. Nose is sweet citrus as is the taste. Very soft beer. Needs more hop bitterness.

All the data is in and its official- Equilibrium is really good at hazy IPA. But their beer that's fueled with Mosaic hops take their skills and make an even finer point.
Data Points pours with a pastel golden glow, matte in its finish and crowning with an ivory dense froth. As a fruity and herbal perfume rises to the nose, the full bouquet of tropical fruit, citrus, berry, herb and stone fruit manifests in scent. Firm in its cereal sweetness, a creamy wheat bread character carries a mild pastry flavor in support of the fruit flavors to come.
As the hops unfold on the middle palate, the taste shares a bold stone fruit flavor of peach, apricot and then citrusy orange for a strong belini character. With red grapefruit, mango and passionfruit flavors also rising, the beer's hop profile easily dominates the balance. A tilt toward bitterness late in taste shows a black tea, verbena, spruce and grassy herbalness hinging on cannabis and currant.
Full, creamy and drying, the IPA finishes malty-dry with a gin-like spice that decorates the medium-long aftertaste. Data Points is a full flavored and delicious beer that allows its creamy cereal maltiness to stay in the way a little too long.

Great hazy orange color
Scent of tropical and orange
Taste is the same, but slight bitterness makes it extremely smooth at 8%.
Overall one of the top 10 beers I’ve had. Want to revisit one favorite space lettuce
