Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass, pours a fairly hazy yellow orange with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.25

Aroma tangerine, pineapple, mango, a whiff of coconut, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows tangerine, pineapple, mango, a hint of coconut, and apricot well balanced. 4.25

Overall this is rock solid, nothing that dazzles but still enjoyable. 4.25

Built around a couple of the most popular hop variety around, Equilibrium takes the Fractal series on a dedicated journey of flavor with all Citra and Cashmere hops.

Densely packed with goldenrod hues, and glowing with a pastel tone and a standard matte finish on the glass, Cashmere/Citra Fractal floats a creamy white froth and a billowing bouquet of citrus, tropical fruit, herb and cream. A moderate cereal sweetness kicks off the taste with notions of honey, agave, shortcake and vanilla wafer.

As those Cashmere and Citra hops blossom on the tongue, the radiant fruit character turns even more fruity to taste with tangerine, lime and lemon character, backed with lemongrass, with a hint of peach, mango, passionfruit and papaya coming in next. Trending juicy with an all-things-melon impression, the late taste comes with a balancing bitterness of tea, spruce, citronella, bright chive and with a creamy mint finish.

Medium bodied and trending dry, the beer's juicy character is plump until the very end where it dries with a snappy and spicy hop bite. Finishing with a fresh and peppery herb bite, the ale extends with a medium length linger of bitter verbena, lemon balm and citrus peel.

Canned just a couple weeks ago, this one's leaving me feeling uninspired. Looks pretty in the glass, but very subdued citrus/melon nose and a fairly boring, one-dimensional OJ taste. Mouthfeel is watery and weak. Having only ever tried one other from the Fractal series, I had much higher expectations.
