Imperial stout with crushed cookies, cake mix, cocoa nibs, Madagascar vanilla, and lactose
Cookies & Cream Pop pours pitch black with a brown saturated head releasing aromas of chocolate cookie wafers, creamy vanilla cookie center, and deep fudge brownie. A thick mouthfeel morphs into balanced layers of fudge, your favorite melty vanilla ice cream saturated sandwich cookie, and a cake like batter finish. This nostalgic treat will take you back to hearing the sounds of the ice cream truck after just a few sips!

Look - Pours a very dark black color with almost no head, though a very small head appears for a few seconds when swirled.
Smell - The smell is really lacking on the cookies and cream side. Smells of malt, chocolate, and maybe(?) just a tiny amount of cookies and cream.
Taste - Taste isn't nearly as sweet as other reviewers mentioned, but just enough to make it easy to drink. I guess there's a small hint of vanilla, but taste did have a little more cookies and cream than the smell, and I find it rather good.
Feel - Though the taste didn't absolutely 'wow' me, I find it surprisingly easy to drink and easily finished a bottle of this. Nicely creamy, and lightly sweet.
Overall - I like this stout. Though I don't taste the cookies & cream nearly as much as advertised, it's a very easy drinking, and good stout.

Pours as black as spent motor oil with chunks of I assume cookies and yeast coming out of the bottle like a pipe unclogging; the small head was brown and faded in average time, leaving minimal lacing but tons of cookie particles on the glass…a unique looking brew. It smells like hot fudge, Oreo cookies, dark chocolate, brownie batter, milk chocolate, cocoa powder and faint vanilla. The aroma certainly matched the name. The flavor also matched the name, however, to me it was too sweet overall. It perfectly replicated Cookies & Cream ice cream and tasted just like a crushed up Oreo in a stout, but the more I drank it the more it seemed like I was drinking a glass of Hershey’s chocolate syrup. This would be a great beer to bust out and share with several people as a dessert treat after a holiday meal.

Pours thick, slow, and not particularly lively, quite reminiscent of motor oil. Head builds slowly, and never reaches more than about 1/4 inch. None of this makes the beer unattractive, but it's not impressive, either.
Sure enough, the aroma truly matches that of cookies and cream, both from a distance and up close. As with any facsimile of a dessert in beer form, there are also fairly notable traditional notes in the aroma, including prune and caramel, but it's almost an after thought - as if your nose is telling you, "Hmm, cookies and cream. Oh, and yeah, it's a stout!"
From the instant the beer hits the palate, it's impressively thick, rich, and decadent - and that's before the sugar really hits. Nearly perfect mouthfeel: nearly chewy yet soft, velvety, minimum bite and heat. Long, coating finish.
Tasting notes include ... did you not read the name of the beer? It's freaking cookies and cream! This beer is exactly as advertised. It's certainly a dessert beer, but it's not cloying.
This one is all about truth in advertising. Equilibrium is not joking with the name (and goal) of the beer. DO NOT BUY IT if you're not looking for a true dessert pastry stout. If, however, that's what you are looking for, this is seriously on the level of Angry Chair.

Medium black pour with a tan ring and white floaties. Aromas of rich dutch processed dark cocoa, vanilla ice cream, sugar, and malt, ver thin smell. Taste is a diabetic nightmare, huge sugary vanilla bites into the dark chocolate, big roasted malt kickback in the finish. Feel is thin, sugary, cloying, smooth at least, but just not that drinkable.

Surprise bottle find at a local grocer, don't know anything about this beer but it sounded tasty. Split into snifters with the wife. Pours murky brown, not completely opaque but very dark, minimal head. Smooth, decadent sweetness on the nose but not overpowering or cloying...cookies, chocolate, vanillla...the flavors follow right along with those impressions of Oreo's and chocolate cake, vanilla frosting. Enjoyable, not cloying, but not my favorite Pastry stout.

This is not beer, but an ice cream topping with an abv!! If I was looking for chocolate syrup, I would have reached for Hershey's, but I was hoping for a "beer" with a hint of cookies and cream. I love Equilibrium Brewery but this one is not for me.
