Collaboration with Perennial Artisan Ales
Starting with a base of oats and wheat we went pretty tropical with the hops. Using a Citra and Sabro whirlpool, we then dry hopped with Citra, Sultana, and Sabro. Pouring a vivid and hazy yellow in color, aromas of a tropical fruit medley greet you before flavors of juicy tangerine, crushed syrupy pineapple, complex coconut, and passionfruit transition to notes of lime wedges, grassy fields, and our rainbow melon thing. This beer is extremely tropical with a nice expression of our #EQjuice finish and should help you get through what we hope are the last few weeks of winter.

A: Pours a milky murky pale bright golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale orange + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/pineapple + tropical/mango + citrus/tangerine + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/melon + coconut hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with moderate amounts of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with moderate amounts of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/pineapple + tropical/mango + citrus/tangerine + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/melon + coconut hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving lingering tropical + citrus + coconut hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with a light to moderate amount of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a very light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasant + refreshing creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Very enjoyable with tons of tropical + citrus + coconut hops. I could easily put a couple of these away. Delicious and hit the spot after a hard workout of running + biking on a relatively warm evening.
