500ml bottle. Stamped date on label is 'C2/21'. Listed on label is Three Chiefs Brewing Co.
Black colored body, with very thin brown back lit edge. Not much from the brown head upon pouring. Film left behind but no lacing.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, dark espresso, and dark cacao, with a little bit of vanilla.
Taste is dark roasted malts, with vanilla sweetened cacao and espresso. Coconut provides a hint of flavor. Mostly coffee and vanilla in the aftertaste.
Nectar-like mouth feel. Higher ABV% is well hidden. Supportive carbonation.
A little bit of sweetness from the vanilla is layered over the heavy cacao and espresso flavors. Coconut is discernible but competes poorly with the heavy cacao and espresso. Appears that the rating scores are decreasing over time from the initial early 2021 release date. I concur that the beer's presentation is solid but not exceptional.
