16 oz. Can
Canned On: May 13 21
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, melon), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

16 fl oz pull-tab can nabbed in Denver, CO (Argonaut Liquor):
6.8% ABV. "India Pale Ale."
Served cold into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass:
AROMA: Pineapple, citrus, orange, citric acidity, Mandarin orange, orange juice, tangerine. Not very pulpy, but it definitely delivers on its Citra and Sultana hop regimen judging by the aroma. Rife with citrus, which is what one would expect.
TASTE: Matches the aroma but depth of flavour is disappointingly shallow. Citrus, orange, pulp. Wheat and 2-row are what I'd bet comprise the malt bill. It's a bit simplistic.
TEXTURE: Medium-bodied yet refreshing. Has some mild pulpy thickness. Smooth. Wet. Perfectly carbonated.
OVERALL: Pales in comparison to some of the better Citra hopped IPAs out there (see: Kern River, Deschutes, et al.) and it's not amongst Equilibrium's best efforts, but it's a very drinkable balanced brew with a mellow citrusy hop flavour. It'll be widely liked but sparingly loved. There are far better expressions of the style out there, and far cheaper ones at that...

Lighter on the color spectrum, similar to tangerine juice. Nose is just slightly citrusy. Taste is as well. Mouthfeel is a good amount of bitterness considering the initial taste isn't too strong. Good stuff

Can. Looks like grapefruit juice with a little ring and island, but my wife's half seemed to have a decent head. Very strong fruity tropical citrus aroma with light raw pizza dough. Medium light sweetness with loads of fruity grapefruit in a very dry but not bitter finish. Medium body with lively but soft carbo. The pleasantly dry finish without too much grapefruit bitterness is what separates this one from most of the pack, as well as the nicely calibrated body and carb. NE IPAs can get awfully sloppy. Excellent.

Fractioning out a careful proportion of Citra and Sultana hops, Equilibrium ensures that their EQ Juice carries through this series of New England IPAs strongly, surely and precisely.
Light gold and glowing with a pastel tone and a matte finish on the glass, the Citra/Sultana version of Fractal floats a creamy white froth and a billowing bouquet of citrus, tropical fruit, melon and herb. A light cereal sweetness kicks off the taste with notions of honeysuckle, angel food cake and vanilla wafer.
As those hope open up, the radiant aromas turn fruit to taste with a zesty tangerine and mandarin orange character and is backed with pink grapefruit and lime. With pineapple, mango, passionfruit and papaya coming in next, the middle palate is rife with fruit cocktail flavor. Trending juicy with honeydew, the late taste comes with a balancing bitterness with hints of juniper, currant, hemp, hay and green tea.
Medium bodied and trending malty-dry, the beer's juicy character is plump until the very end where it dries with a snappy and spicy hop bite. Finishing with a green tea, fresh herb bite, the ale extends with a medium length linger of bitter verbena and tropical fruit rind.
