Warning, not in a bad way: there is particulate. Color is like a fresh orange juice. Nose citrusy, however nothing I can put my finger on. Taste has a smooth pineapple flavor, not too much though, just the right amount. Bitterness is small, but still there. Good beer.

Like mad scientists working on hop combinations, Equilibrium applies new and experimental hops to their EQ branded juice for a unique hop experience layered upon a New England and imperial strength taste.

Lupo Lab: Linear Combination jumps right out with a ton of under ripened tropical fruit that strikes the nose even as the ale pours a cloudy and matte golden orange appearance. As dank citrus, radiant green herb and cereal rolls off of the creamy white froth, an all-things-green character comes together. A full grain complement comes first comes to taste in the early impressions of shortcake, cereal and agave.

But the hops are what matters most as the middle palate opens up with lime, lemon, white grapefruit, green papaya, and the younger versions of pineapple, mango and papaya. With a certain margarita character coming together, so does a more herbal complement as the stern grains finally start to fade away. Trending spicy, stemmy, weedy and green, its late palate is strong with verbena, green tea, lemon pepper and cannabis.

Medium bodied with a creamier upstart, Lupo Lab finishes spicy with hops and with a firm tannic and astringent bite from both grain and hop vegetation. A linger of tea, fresh grasses and herbs ensure a tangy, green and acute spice to follow.
