Really cute can art. I am glad Equilibrium left the graphic design to Great Notion. As for the beer, it poured a hazy yellow ochre color. The body was topped by an inch-tall, super tight and creamy, bright white crop of froth that fell to a thick, clingy collar. A blanket of streaky lacing coated the glass and stuck around for quite a while.

The nose was really fruity and bold. Nice melding tropical, stone fruit and melon notes. Ripe mango was quite apparent. Bit of guava and/or papaya too. Fresh peach notes also came through strong. Some honeydew melon as well. Nice honey-like sweetness too. As the beer warmed, the fruity notes and the overall sweetness intensified.

The flavor profile was similar to the aroma and nearly as impressive. Again, tropical and stone fruit notes dominated. Mango was very prominent. Touch of guava and papaya as well. Ripe peach notes were apparent. Pineapple was noticeable in the center. White grapefruit came through on the back end and in the finish. Moderate amount of spicy hops and pithy, rind-like bitterness.

Nice soft, creamy, supple mouthfeel. Medium bodied for the style. The liquid contained a fine, fairly subdued effervescence. Unlike many triple IPAs, the beer was neither too boozy nor too heavy on the palate.

Juice² - Batch 2 is impressive hoppy collaboration TIPA by Equilibrium and Great Notion. Although this style can often be excessively boozy and/or sweet, this beer drank shockingly well given its high ABV. Equilibrium make some of the best hoppy beers on the planet, and this is a perfect example as to why I believe so.
