Double Fractal is a new series that brings you all the goodness of our Fractal and Super Fractal series but in a DIPA format for the first time. Double Fractal Pentaflake is the first in the series, it combines our fractal fermentation, simple 2-row base malt bill, and combines Galaxy, Strata, Sabro, Citra, and Amarillo.
Pouring beautifully hazy and deep yellow in color, aromas of yuzu citrus, lime, pine, coconut, and complex berries are met with flavors of tangerine, passionfruit, assorted stone fruits, and berry with a touch of coconut and a big limey #EQJuice finish.

Very well balanced. Not too hoppy, with a newer direction away from NEIPAs. The fruit is there, but there is more hoppy bitterness in the finish- tropical fruits, tangerine.

Pours a hazy light orange with a small head and light lacing.
Smells of slightly dank grassy piney hops with citrus and sweet fruit.
Tastes of grapefruit, orange, pineapple and mango with a slightly bitter finish.
Medium body with light carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.
This is a very juicy and drinkable brew.

Decidedly hoppy, but sharing equal parts hops, grain sweetness, floral, fruity and herbal attributes, showing that balance in beer flavor doesn't have to be symmetrical.
Double Fractal Pentaflake leaps right out, bursting with fruitiness as hoppiness happens when the frothy crown approaches the rim of the glass. Citrus, herb, berry, melon and tropical fruit expand along with a citronella bouquet. Juicy from the onset, the early palate is plump with cereal, cake batter, honeysuckle and candied melon roundedness.
A soft glow of pastel taupe satisfies the eye as the hops unfold on the middle palate with the blossoming taste of tangerine, red grapefruit and lime. All seeming candied their flavor, a quick development of tropical fruit registers with lemon, lime, mandarin orange and pink grapefruit in that signature EQjuice profile. Additional nuances of gooseberry, passionfruit and pineapple add a softer and racier tropical taste to further reinforce the hops. Trending pleasantly and bitterly balanced, the late taste is a piquant spice of verbena, sassafras, hemp and cedar with black tea and a general gin-like spruciness.
Full bodied and creamy, the beer shows tremendous drinkability for its imperial strength while finishing malty-dry with a medium long linger of floral bitterness with lemongrass and candied fruit rinds. Its turbid maltiness ensures a fuller taste with a drying track leading to a full flavored and full bodied IPA character.

Pours a hazy dirty blonde. It's citrusy with an almost rose water like bouquet to the nose. It really does taste like a freshly picked Florida orange. A little pithy on the finish. There isn't a lot of depth to this. It's somewhat one note. But for what it is, it is doing a good job.
