16 oz can.
Pours a hazy pale gold color with a nice 2 finger eggshell white head. Good retention. Leaves some spotty lacing.
The aroma brings, oh my goodness, no way. HONEYDEW MELON! Equilibrium and honeydew melon. Name a better duo. Anyway, there's some coconut, mango and light citrus.
The flavor is surprisingly citrusy. Oh trust me, there's honeydew. But it's not a dominant flavor. Lots of oranges and grapefruit with some light lemon zest. There's a subtle coconut flavor, which is nice. Some mango and pineapple. Pretty good.
The feel is medium bodied with lower carbonation. Creamy and incredibly soft. Easy drinking beer.
Overall, this is a very good NEIPA. I make fun of the honeydew melon notes because Equilibrium is notorious for having basically all their IPA's as melon bombs. Regardless, there's a lot of decent flavors here.

From a 16oz can dated Aug 24, 2021. From the EQ Instagram post: “Fractal HBC 472/Citra is a really fun one. Our newest hop combo investigates the interplay between a hop so experimental it does not have a name yet other than HBC 472 and touch of Citra, our ever-evolving hopping processes, and simple pale malt base.
Fractal HBC 472/Citra pours a beautifully milky straw yellow and gives off bright notes and flavors of mango and melon sorbet, coconut flakes, fruity pebbles, and vanilla custard. All of these flavors wrap up into a full creamy mouthfeel and a balanced bitterness with a pop of #EQjuice on the finish.” Excellent!
