16 oz. Can
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, guava, melon), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, guava, melon), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

Pours an effervescent & hazy gold with one finger of cream-colored head. Pretty good head retention & lacing
S: A little catty, some citrus
T: Follows the nose, dry, a kiss of woody hops & green melon up front, tangerine asserts itself. Pomelo, lime, dryness, some pineapple as this beer warms up. Finishes with tangerine, green melon & dryness
MF: Medium body, minimal carbonation, good balance
Easy to drink good flavor, so-so nose & loads of floaties

maybe not the freshest can in the world, but i am so stoked to have these guys selling some beer in idaho, i thought they were majorly small, hard to get for even those who live out east, wonder if they have recently expanded or how this distribution came to be, but i am stoked about it. quite a few around town too, and some kegs which is nice. this one is a hazy pale, a little faded and kind of minimal but still super clean in three key ways. one is that the hops are light enough that there is no linger, its done on the swallow. two is that the ferment is super tidy, this is dry and fast drinking, low alcohol, and well refined. the third is how even though i can tell its not super fresh, there is no failing grain in it, it never gets sweet or copper tasting or anything, its awesome. its wheaty and earthy at its base, dry as a bone, and with some pine and sweet orange to the hops, but somewhat delicate to me in terms of dosage, especially for a hazy. i like its minimal nature, makes it really drinkable, and its nice pizza beer, doesnt fill me up or prevent me from having a few too many slices, which is crucial. id love to try this at its peak, but i am not complaining either, great to have some of their stuff out in idaho!

In full celebration of all-things-Strata, Equilibrium showcases the unique nature of this hop variety on a snappy and hazy pale ale base taste.
Hop Layers certainly isn't short on complexity as the scent of melon and fruit cocktail roll off of the cottony white foam. With complementary aromas of hemp and citrus oils drifting about, the taste of the hazy golden beer is juicy with fructose, lychee and honeysuckle while rounding out with angel food cake and cereal grains.
As the hops unfold on the middle palate, the sweetness drifts away with its racy carbonation to reveal the full breadth of Strata hops. Lime, white grapefruit and orange lead the way while more tropical flavors of guava, passionfruit and papaya add an exotic zing in complement. Trending from fruity to herbal the hops eventually develop a sharper hop spice to reveal green tea, cannabis and a host of gin-like botanicals.
Medium light, racy and snappy from start to finish, the beer is uncharacteristically dry for such juicy ale. Finishing quite refreshing, crisp and slightly off-clean, the beer carries a medium length aftertaste of grassy hop bitterness with citrus peel and fresh spruce decorate the session overall.

Pours very cloudy and leaves a THICK white head. Nose and taste are equally piney. Aftertaste is good amount of bitterness, however it fades pretty quickly.
