Fluctuating Fruits is back today with our newest combination, Pink Guava and Plum. We started off with our Fluctuation base, dry hopped it with Citra and Galaxy before adding 2200 lbs of Pink Guava and Plum. Pouring a deep milky orange plum color, aromas of citrus and tropical fruit lead into flavors on Tang juice drink, ripe summer plums and a balanced guava pop with a touch of complex coconut all wrapped in a creamy finish.

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow/brownish color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind, and lots of sediment. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, guava, plum), pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, guava, plum), pretty nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

A: The beer is very hazy brownish yellow in color and has lots of particulates visible in suspension near the bottom of the glass. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pink guava and passion fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of citrusy hops and plums, the latter of which are most noticeable in the finish.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting take on an IPA. I liked how the addition of pink guava and plum didn't completely overpower the underlying beer.
