baller that these even came to idaho, i wish there was a date on this as i am suspicious, how fresh can it be from that far away, all i see is an orange dot on the bottom, no printed date, and it doesnt taste amazingly fresh to me, and there is some sediment in it at the bottom all chunky, but its cool beer, and i can still take away a sense of the numbered hop in this one, citra too of course, its citra driven, but the 586 adds a lot in nose and taste, suggestions of strawberry, not quite ripe tart raspberry, wet tobacco, and pez candy, maybe the pink ones. fruity for sure, but citra still runs this so its not as cool as it could be. from a citra standpoint, i have long said it needs a partner, and it gets one here, but i wish to taste this hop on its own, could easily be a solo star to me, even with a little oxidation creeping in and the maltiness on the rise due to it being a tad tired. seems like this is a whole series of beers, and how fun to get to try a bunch of them in close proximity it would be! hope to get the chance sometime. it should also be mentioned here how good the texture is, haze is not for the sake of it, body is not forced, its fuller but soft as can be, and lively in texture, even can conditioned feeling without being super dry, love it. these guys slap!

Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours an orangish yellow hue and is turbid. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing.

Medicinal and citrus aroma. It has a sweet smell.

It has a medicinal and sweet citrus flavor. I get a little lemongrass.

Medium bodied with a pillowy mouthfeel

I believe this is my first Equilibrium beer. It was not cheap. I do not feel this is worth the money. I just bought it because it was the first time I saw any in Ohio, and I heard some hype.

Pours a very cloudy, opaque golden color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Juicy mango aroma with passionfruit. The taste is pretty much the same but with a bigger hit of passion fruit. Very smooth. MInimal bitterness with mild dankness and refreshing edge. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

 

 

 

 

16oz can at share. Hazy golden pour, small foamy white head. Aroma is fruity, tropical, bringing some earthy elements late. Taste expands on the tropical fruit with floral essence and a touch of dank. Nice mouthfeel, creamy

 

Pours a cloudy straw yellow color with nice head and lacing . Smell is tropical and herbal. Taste has citrus ,melon berries and garden herbal hops. Mouth feel is semi dry and spritz with citra, its crisp but non bitter.
