Collaboration with Vitamin Sea Brewing

We start off with a big blend of wheat and oats and continue to lay the base with a whirlpool Citra Incognito, Citra LUPOMAX, and Columbus T90s, and before the dry-hop of Citra LUPOMAX, Citra T90s, and Cashmere T90s.

A fruit cocktail cup nose leads to creamy assorted melon for dayssss, crushed pineapple in syrup, mango, punchy lemon lime spritz, and gooseberry. You’ll get a soft and creamy mouthfeel before your tastebuds hit the flavor mines pictured on the label giving you our signature #EQjuice finish.

Working on new ways to get hops into beer, the breweries of Equilibrium and Vitamin Sea team up for a Lupomax, Incognito, T90 way to increase the taste of Citra, Columbus and Cashmere hops.

Pale and creamy at its pour Sea Floor kicks off with a heavy silt presence and an opaque look as if it were beaten eggs sitting in the glass. Its frothy white cap hosts a bold and aromatic display of citrus, grasses and herbs for a highly botanical perfume to kick things off. As it's sweetness hits the tongue, a cereal heavy taste of juicy melon wraps around flavors of honey, cream and poundcake.

As the sweetness allows for the growing hop flavors to materialize on the middle palate, a high citrus flavor of valencia orange, tangerine and nectarine come with a sweet red grapefruit combination with a bleed into more tropical mango, passionfruit, apricot and papaya character. The roundness of pawpaw is almost banana-like as the taste trends tropical in nature. The development of herbal bitterness links up with lingering creamy malts for a bright and botanical taste that reminds me of ranch dressing with a smooth and sprucy bitterness.

Highly botanical and seemingly gin-like, the fuller bodied IPA lets the more green flavors of Citra and Chinook hops to give the session a character of hemp, green tea, verbena and fresh grass clippings in a medium-long, bittersweet aftertaste.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down and left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of specks of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of melon are present in the nose along with notes of lime and hints of gooseberry.
T: The taste follows the smell but is more complex and has additional notes of pineapple and hints of lychee.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has a nice amount of complexity in both the smell and taste. It also drinks quite easily considering its strength.
