In collaboration with Kings County Brewers Collective. We wanted to make this beer as soft and creamy as possible, so we used a huge flaked oats and wheat base before a whirlpool of Citra Incognito, Citra 90’s, and Idaho 7. We then dry hopped with our debut of the new hop Australian Eclipse, Citra, and Nelson. This is Your Brain On Science pours hazy and bright with aromas of tangerine marmalade and concord grape and,… well… think Trix cereal. Flavors are a creamy, bright, and refreshing mix of pineapple, mango push-up popsicle, lime, and Welch’s grape juice with a dank pine backbone and a touch of bitterness that will have your electrically brain signals dancing.

16 oz. Can
Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya, lime, purple grapes), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya, lime, purple grapes), a nice little sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

16oz can. No dating information found.
Hazy, pale gold colored body. Thick, two finger white head, which only very slowly recedes. Leaves behind irregular rings of lacing.
Aroma of orange and tangerine citrus, and purple grape.
Taste is sweet, with flavors of mango, pineapple, lime, and purple grape. Dank bitterness increases as the beer warms but does not get excessive. The sweetness gets close to sugarized breakfast cereal.
More than medium mouth feel. Very soft texture. Very good carbonation.
There is a late rise in sweetness that is a standalone highlight. Very fruity.

This one was ok as a hazy, but nothing monumental. The imperialnes is just too much for me with tjis one. Brewer has beter offers in normal strength ipa genre.

No canning date
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to deep orange color with a massive white head that lingers. SRM of 8-9. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of rich orange, mango, lemon and grapefruit. Some lychee and rainbow sherbet.
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, Valencia orange, grapefruit, tropical pineapple, some ripe mango and rainbow sorbet underneath. Slightly sweet.
Feel: Medium to heavier body, average carbonation. Finishes juicy yet clean.
Compared to EQ Citragon 10/2023: Pours darker, similar head. Similar aromas and flavors overall. Slightly more orange and tropical notes with dankness. Less bright citrus and pineapple. Very similar.
Compared to EQ mc2 10/2023: Pours identical, similar aromas. More orange, resinous notes. Hard to compare b/c mc2 was oxidized.
Compared to EQ Fluctuations 10/2023: Pours darker, stronger head. Milder aromas. More orange citrus, guava, pine. Less tropical pineapple, mango, grape, rainbow sorbet. Heavier. Winner: Fluctuations
Overall: Very nice NEIPA with Citra plus Idaho 7. Drinks pretty similar to other EQ NEIPAs, but slightly more dank as it warms which coincides with the pine description. (Rating: 4.09)

Cloudy yellow/orange colors, lightly fluffy head and lacing. Scents of mango and pineapple with a bit of dank earthiness. Taste is similar, a bit more subtle than the smell. Medium bodied, well disguised alcohol presence, clean mouth watering finish. Good, but not great.

Had this on tap at the brewery recently, and it was horrible. Tasted like pine mixed with bitters, tasted like it went bad. Easily the worst beer I’ve had from EQ. Don’t know if it’s a bad batch, it smelled horrible also. Just gross.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with decent head and lace that slowly dies. Both a pineapple-citric and tropical fruit-sweet hoppy aroma although some graininess as well. Smooth, fuller body, citric mango pineapple flavors come through in an easy drinking beer with minimal bitterness. Full-bodied so slow-sipping and has a dry finish that compliments the sweet fruit flavors.
