After seeing Marco on a recent visit to Florida and discussing how much we loved this beer, we decided to bring it back. The rest is history, back to space we go!
To Space We Go starts off with 2-row, flaked oats, and flaked wheat before a Mosaic whirlpool and a huge Strata dry hop with a hint of Citra. Vivid yellow with a tropical aroma, flavors blast off into notes of syrupy pineapple chunks, mango candy, passionfruit, cannabis, complex berry and black currants all wrapped in super dank flavor. Creamy with an escalating #EQjuice finish, To Space We Go will have you on your way.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy undertones with some juicy notes and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of juicy hoppy notes with some citrusy hoppy undertone and some light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed NEIPA.

Canned 5/19/22 (3+ months old)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (less than 5% clarity) medium, but bright orange color with a massive white head. SRM of 7. (4.50)
Aroma: Strong and juicy aromas of pineapple, grapefruit citrus, with a strong and sweet green mango aroma underneath. Mostly green mango. (4.50)
Flavor: Strong flavors of green mango upfront. Some pineapple and mango flower and green notes evolve. Almost has a citrus quality, but then comes back to the sweet mango nectar. Slightly green, faintly herbal. (4.50)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied. Moderate carbonation, but a very smooth and soft mouthfeel. Soft, silky, slightly sweet. (4.50)
Compared to BlackStack Who Put You On 8/5/22: Pours darker, hazier, with a larger head. Similar mango aromas, but more green. More green pineapple, green mango, flower and herbal notes. Less melon and papaya. Similar mango cream flavors. Similar body and sweetness as well. Overall, decently similar.
Compared to Equillibrium Hubble Palate 9/18/22: Pours a similar appearance, stronger aromas. More sweet mango, green mango peel. Less tart citrus rind and pineapple.
12/2022: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More green mango skins and flesh. Less tart grapefruit citrus rind and pineapple. Less funky yeast. Smoother, more juicy and tropical. Winner: To Space We Go
Compared to BlackStack Crowd Control 10/2/22: Pours a darker, hazier color. Milder aromas. More mango altogether. Less citrus and tropical pineapple/melon. Heaver and sweeter.
Overall: An absolute banger. The Strata and Mosaic hops are spot on here. This one has a wonderous green mango flavor. Mango juice, mango, and green mango peel. Also some pineapple, passionfruit, green grapefruit to support. The perfect amount of green to clean up the sweet mango flavor. An incredibly, smooth, sweet body. Silky. I don't know how they do this. A wonderous NEIPA as per usual from EQ. 4.5+ all around. (Rating: 4.50-, personally probably a 4.40)

Better than average DIPA, a bit of edge. Good mouthfeel for a DIPA. Can from the source.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazy yellow color with a huge head of puffy white foam. The head fades slowly over time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a grapefruit and tropical fruits as well as heavy of a herbal and floral smell. Mixed with these aromas comes notes of orange and peach as well as a little bit of a grassy and raw hop smell. Overall, rather inviting.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter orange, peach, tangerine, pineapple, and mango fruitiness mixed with a doughy malt backbone. There is a rather decent hop presence upfront, being mainly of grapefruit, but containing some herbal and floral hops flavors as well. As the taste advances so too does the sweeter fruit, being joined by a bit of berry and confectioner’s sugar. With the increase in sweet, comes an increase in hop with more grapefruit and herb as well as some light pine coming to the tongue. Toward the very end a little bit of hay and yeast come onto the scene, mixing with the other flavors to leave one with a rather rich, somewhat fruity sweet, but balanced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is chewy and thick with a carbonation level that is low. Great feel for the style accentuating the flavors nicely.
Overall – A very well-crafted Hazy IPA. Big on flavor, with a sweetness that is balanced nicely by the hop and the malt. One to try if the opportunity arises.
