16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of caramel, grapefruit, orange and some resin. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel, toffee and a piney bitterness.

Can. Bright CLEAR gold with lasting small head and lace. Very fruity aroma tropical and citrus with hints of honey and a touch of pine and herb. Very fruity sweet for style IMHO. Some kind of mystery citrus flavor or something is weird and cloys a bit. Medium body soft carbo. Tastes well made but something about the flavor is too much.

Clear golden orange appearance with a foamy lasting head and a modest amount of lacing. Pine, pineapple, malt, faint dankness, melon finish. Full round body, moderate carbonation.

Can labeled as a Double IPA @ 8% abv so listing this as an American IPA is incorrect or at best incomplete and misleading.
A clear beer - was that so hard?
Clear, orange amber color with some light chill haze under a dense white head of tenacious foam.
Good spatters of lace and retention.
Aroma is malt and tropical fruit with hints of conifer forest - rich and lush but not Pine, earth forward with some citrus as in Left coast style. Lots of ale-yeasty esters lurk under the sweet heady up front aromas like those cells are not nearly done eating.
The flavor loses the west coast feel completely - all mango chutney and pineapple in sugar syrup, nearly cloying, so tongue heavy and thick it made my teeth hurt.
Finish is long and dry, nice compared to the barrage of heavy handed, under attenuated raw beer flavors that just assaulted my palate. No balance or memorable unique flavors or character to be found.
I honestly really hoped I would like this.

L- Clear dark golden color.
S- Hoppy piney aroma.
T- Sweet upfront flavor followed by
resinous pine.
O- A very version of a WCIPA!

Solid West Coast Double IPA. It's not over the top in anyway, which keeps me wanting more, which in turn keeps me sipping. Light floral grapefruit and pine notes throughout.

West coast DIPA poured at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a thin head. Has some floral and pine on the nose. Has some melon and pine flavor and mixes well. Finishes with a little stickiness. I could drink a few of these but at 8% it can hurt you.
