As '22 comes to a close, there's one eye that looks forward to the new year, but there's also an eye that's back on '20. For that, Equilibrium has beer- a hazy imperial IPA that celebrates unique hop flavors with the same yeast esters that makes the brewery famous.
20/22 Vision pours turbidly taupe with hints of gold, peach and orange hues through its silt-heavy center. As its creamy froth rises, so does a blend of candied fruit aromas pulling from tropical to citrus, to orchard fruit, vinous fruit, stone fruit and berries. As an herbal and spicy twinge of vegetation looms, the taste leans in with a creamy malt impression of shortcake, marshmallow and cereal.
With a persistently sweet taste and spongy texture lingering onto the middle palate, they only serve give a plumpness to fruit flavors. Branch-ripe tangerine, mango spheres, apricot rollup and bellini all provide a vivid fruit cocktail with a tangier sensation of sherbet, grape pez, lime and grapefruit giving a sharper fruit flavor with the late palate looming. Trending both juicy with cantaloupe and herbal with hemp, spruce and peppery resins, the beer starts to resemble IPA nearing finish.
Full bodied and finishing malty-dry, the IPA finishes smoothly bitter with a spicy alcohol twinge of botanical gin and winter greens. The level of fruit flavors will have us all cross-eyed with hoppy glee.

S- Light tropical fruit
T- Mild hop bite upfront followed by juicy

O- I really like this. I think it may have
aged and mellowed a little which
is a good thing!
