We are berry excited to bring you the latest creation from our experimental dHop series. dHop 43 features a very berry forward hop bill of Zappa, Mosaic, Belma, and Barbe Rouge atop a flaked oat and white wheat base. dHop 43 pours with aromas of bright Valencia orange, earthy grass, strawberries, ruby red grapefruit slices, and complex red currants with pungent flavors of fresh squeezed OJ laced with delicate blueberry, underripe strawberry, zesty lime, and punchy grape with a creamy #EQjuice melon finish. Although no actual berries were harmed in its making, dHop 43 is a great example of why this series exists and how different hops can really impact complex flavor profiles in the beer we enjoy.

Hop, hop 'til ya drop. Hop, hop, never stop! And there's no stop in sight as Equilibrium as they embark on the 43rd rendition of their dHop Series. Packed with Zappa, Mosaic, Belma, and Barbe Rouge hops, this version shows as much of an education in what's possible with different hop combinations as it is something flavorful.

Glowing hazy straw, dHop43 billows over with a cottony and arid froth. Foamy, plush and feathery in its texture, the beer's slow pour leads to a unique fruity scent of berry, vinous and citrus fruit with herbal scents of citronella and geranium. Moderate in its malty-sweet tone, the early taste is creamy with wafer, angel food cake and light agave.

As the hops unfold on the middle palate, the tastebuds awaken to the taste of under ripened fruit, green berries and racy topical flavors. White grapefruit, white grape, under ripened orange, lime and lemon all play into a plump apple and gooseberry blend. Passionfruit, green mango and green papaya help with the beer's juicy flavors and feels before falling to a spicy tannic bitterness of green tea, verbena, cedar and lemon balm.

Medium bodied and trending drier than the average hazy ale, the beer's late and peppery bitterness shares a resinous tone of chive, dry hemp and gin-like botanicals with a synthetic bite of vinyl and white wine rot.
