Using a big base of oats and wheat for fluffiness, we heavily hopped this beer with HBC 586 (read mango , mango, mango), Strata, and a touch of Citra.
Discovery one pours hazy yellow with aromas of orange custard, fruit cocktail, and the part of a margarita glass rim next to the lime wedge. Bold flavors of mango puree, Calamansi citrus, passionfruit jam, sticky icky, and dank berry. After the hoppy ride of saturated flavors, we get a silky and creamy mouthfeel that morphs into rainbow of melon goodness from our #EQjuice finish.

A collab with the UK brewers Track Brewing Co out of Manchester. Very tasty. Explosive tropical fruit aromas, big fruitiness continues on the palate, not overly sweet. Flavor quickly fades into a more bitter finish although very moderate overall. The flavor and finish feels short to me, saying goodbye a bit too quickly. Feel is nice enough although almost unsure of itself, straddling the line of thick and sticky and thin and crisp. I almost wanted this to lean a bit further in one direction or another. All in all it’s a fun beer I enjoyed drinking and definitely worth the price of admission.
