Our newest imperial stout takes inspiration from the delightful pistachio and pecan crusted layered whipped pie. We started with a creamy base stout and added pistachios, pecans, coconut, marshmallow, and Madagascar vanilla. Soft, creamy, and weighed on the palate, Pistachio Dream Dessert offers pillowy layers of thick fudge and bakers chocolate, an earthy sweet nuttiness paired with scoops of marshmallow fluff and vanilla frosting. The extremely balanced finish makes this beer disappear quick and will have you in a dream sequence in no time.

Equilibrium's Pistachio Dream Dessert is better than a 93. It's solidly in the 95-100 range. If a thick and heavy but smooth and creamy dessert beer isn't your thing, pass on this for now. Otherwise this one is solid. Pistachio isn't prominent. Pecan and coconut are noticable. Marshmellow? Perhaps. Thick fudge? Perhaps. Balanced and refined in flavor(?), f yea it is.
My opinion is Equilibrium regularly cranks out beers at 90+ rating. This one is better than their average. I'd happily buy again.

Look - Pours a beautiful black color with almost no head, but that leaves a nice lacing around the glass when swirled.
Smell - I'm not getting much pistachio in the nose. Some fudge, light pecan, and light marshmallow.
Taste - Taste is mainly of fudge, with a light nutty flavor of pecans, and some marshmallow. It's decent, but not as flavorful as I was expecting.
Feel - Nice and creamy, low carbonation, and not as sweet as I expected.
Overall - I really like Equilibrium beers and found this one to be ok, but to me it's not one of their better ones.

500ml bottle at share. Near black pour, thin layer of brown foam. Sweet aroma, chocolate and vanilla, nutty. Pistachios pop a little more in the taste, more sweet chocolate, light roast. Silky smooth

Poured this beer from a bottle into a tulip glass. Oily dark brown color with nice brown head and great curtain lacing that stuck around for awhile. Pleasant smell and taste of pistachios, dark chocolate and marshmallows-vanilla. Very rich. Coconut shines at the finish. Luxurious feel. The beer is a nice treat.
I had this beer on hockey Wednesday. The review is dedicated to my friend and hockey buddy Eddie who passed this Monday. Heart and soul of B/CS hockey. God bless Ed!

Smell is a thick wave of hot fudge with light pistachio and vanilla poking through, gives great promise. The body delivers what's promised, with a wave of marshmallow, fudge and bright vanilla and pistachio highlighting the back end. It's creamy and smooth One of my favorites, for sure.

Poured deep black with little head. Poured almost like a syrup. I detected no pistachio in the smell or taste but could taste all the other flavors, pecan, vanilla and coconut. It is a good beer but I was expecting better.
