For our latest SIPA, we added watermelon, strawberry, lime, and a light addition of select hops. Astronomical Twilight pours like pink berry lemonade with refreshing aromas of tart berry, watermelon chunks, and lime fruit roll-ups. Astronomical Twilight has a luscious body and a full flavor profile of watermelon limeade meets mixed berry and liquid watermelon jolly rancher. The body is full, rounded, light, and fluffy with a thirst-quenching drinkability. With its #balancedacidity, this latest creation is the EQ SIPA team favorite that can be enjoyed during any stage of twilight you choose.

Standard pour yields a voluminous three plus fingers of ultra-active, quick-to-recede, bone-white colored froth comprised or large (and larger) bubbles... Color is a rich dark honey amber... Nose is subtle and nuanced... Watermelon, lactose, wet blanket and a good bit of funk... The fruit notes of watermelon, strawberry and lime really come through in a prominent way on the palate... The sour hop bite is light and deeper on the finish... This one walks the line between light and medium bodied... Loaded with prickly carbonation... A really interesting and absolutely unique brew... I have never encountered anything quite like it and that's a good thing... However, I'm not sure this is anything that I would ever revisit with any sort of regularity...

Found a can of this beer at our grocery store. Poured into a tulip glass. Murky pinkish orange color with good head and curtain lacing. Smell of fresh cut fruit. Taste of strawberry lemonade. Pleasant tartness. Nice smooth feel. Nice to try from tap.
