Moongazer starts off with a flaked oat and wheat base before a Citra Incognito, Citra Lupomax, and Nelson whirlpool and a generous dry hop of Citra T90s, Citra Lupomax, and Nelson. Saturated flavors of bright citrus, ripe mango flesh, green grape, dank grass, lime, and a light touch of white pepper are all wrapped up in a creamy EQ juice finish. A perfect companion for a night sky, take a few sips and don’t forget to look up.

This may be the best New England IPA I've ever had and I hope they brew it again. No mention of it in the listing or other reviews, but this is a collaboration with Charles Towne Fermentory

No date. very nice can art of wistful, shadowed silhouette gazing at a full moon.
Typical, murky, butterscotch swirl amber-yellow color under a full 2 inches of creamy foam. The head slumps quickly leaving full curtains of lace trails.
The aroma is full on fruit cup from a South Park lunch box. Pineapple and citrus blend with a sweetened yeast thing going on. Not very beer-like to me and even less inviting.
The flavor is full of mid boil hop character - tart citrus notes, more fruit cup syrup sweetness that doesn't stand up to the chalky dryness which overwhelms the overall profile. Chalky citrus in a medium bodied vehicle. The oaty fluff gives that strange softeness and cotton mouth feel that adds nothing to the drinking or tasting except wondering why adding airy plush has become a thing as it subtracts from the whole.
Yet another example of the over use of hops and the associated acids and terpenes that are usually, at least traditionally limited to complimenting malted grains and their rich, varied complexity rather than dominating the beers flavor and character. Enough PLEASE with the citra and mosaic and citrusy hop profiles, Please. Seriously. Enough is enough.
None of ya's are Heady Topper so stop trying.
Change can be good. Sometimes it's boring and been done before - ad infinitum.
So I'm done with this breweries beers. I tried - over and over and give them higher scores than I should just to support a local trying to dare to be different.
I can't encourage this any more.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store located just around the corner. The beer poured a smoothie yellow grapefruitish with white head that is leaving a wonderful lace. The scent had dank pineapple and tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet tropical citrus malt base with dank guava and apricot highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a SOLID beer!
