Held for one year in a Weller barrel before we added peanuts, shredded raw coconut, marshmallow, Madagascar vanilla, Ghost Bear espresso blend coffee from Mostra Coffee and a touch of lactose. Pitch black with a saturated mocha cap, Barrel Aged Peanut Butter Life After Death Star pours like motor oil. Aromas of melted chocolate cake, scoops and scoops of peanut butter, and coconut milk please the senses first before big flavors of peanut butter fudge pie, gentle vanilla and marshmallow, and caramel nougat dusted with coconut flakes. Each flavor gently fades into the next before all coming together into a magical mix of devil's food cake batter meets peanut butter meets coconut caramel cold brew, all balanced by a vanilla oak finish.
