Quantum Drops (DIPA) starts off with a malt bill of 2-row, white wheat and flaked oats before a whirlpool of Galaxy, Citra t-90s, and Citra Incognito with a huge dry hop adding in additional Galaxy, Strata, and HBC 586 (the still-unnamed mango flavored hop). Opaque yellow in color with a mango blast nose, dense and fruity hop flavors layered with notes of dank pineapple, moist weed, mango sorbet, lemon lime, berry compote, and papaya custard all morph into a smooth rainbow melon #EQjuice finish. A few sips of this one may have you demonstrating your own quantum drop theories.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow golden pour one finger fluffy white head. Pineapple appears almost immediately in the aroma, then grapefruit with a touch of dankness. Taste is pineapple with a big hit of grapefruit peel, weedy notes in the background. Fairly thick feel. Bitterness lingers with a little warmth.

Cloudy pale orange, light head and lacing. Mild citrusy notes, slight dank, piney scents. Taste is a bit stronger on all of the above. Mild mouth watering finish, subtle booze. Overall subtle and tasty.

This one just arrived locally, I grabbed a single even though I'm usually not a fan of EQ DOUBLE IPA's, simply too much body, booze and sweetness for when I greatly prefer a sub-7% abv hazy IPA. I'm glad I grabbed this one, the marriage of Galaxy, Citra, and Strata on this brew is a winning combination...lots of mango and tropical fruit, sweet body in that familiar way, but not distracting and minimally boozy. Well-executed.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Hazy, vibrant pale gold colored body. One finger of brilliant white head. Leaves behind some partial rings of lacing.
Aroma of pineapple, mango, and an earthy dankness.
Taste has got a touch of onion to go along with the hop flavors of pineapple, mango, and a real earthy hop dankness. The earthy hops linger in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Soft texture. Good carbonation.
Soft body and very juicy, this has flavors that favor rotten fruit and earthy weed.

Compared to Equlibrium Axioms of Probability 2/2023: Pours nearly identical. Stronger aromas. More mango, mango skin, dank pineapple and bitterness. Less sweet stonefruit. More complex flavors and drinks cleaner. Winner: Quantum Drops
Compared to Humble Forager Forbidden Fortune 2/2023: Pours darker, similar head. More mango flesh, sweet peach. Less passionfruit citrus and tropical pineapple. Heavier and leans sweeter. Similar overall.

Added by Act 25. My 4th from wonderful Middletown NY brewer, in foothills of the Gunks.
a) Murky, darkish grapefruit nectar with lacing and lasting head.
s) BIg, perfume of grapefruit, flowers, glaze.
t) Follows with medicinal, pine, and pungent notes, more fruit and a bitter, tangy finish. Large!
f) Silky smooth, hides ABV.
o) Overall, as good as DIPA gets.
