Collaboration with Cushwa Brewing.
Aqueous Protractor uses a Citra Incognito, Citra T90, and Motueka whirlpool with a dry hop of one of our newest favorites, Eclipse, along with Motueka and Citra. Aqueous Protractor has a deep nose of fruit cocktail and pineapple with flavors of Valencia orange juice, mango chunks, peaches and cream, and lime gummy candy with a hint of New Zealand grass and pine. The layered flavors come together right before forming a balanced hoppy bitterness and our EQ juice finish.

Super hazy and super floral .... This is a wonderful "Double" which, in my humble pain should be much higher rated here on beer advocate .... Easy to drink in a very dangerous way ... Enjoying in the evening while listening for cicadas.

Have to admit, I'm slightly impressed. Mainly because at what I feel is a decent age, especially for a NEIPA, this beer has some character, and it isn't far astray from expecations of a fresh NEIPA. The nose especially has a slightly sweet tropical fruit bouquet that has some coconut husk woodiness (a trait I get from Montueka). Ok, it takes a little swirl to expose it at times, but I can imagine it being more pungent a few months back. Flavor is a tad muted compared to he aroma's high side and seems to concentrate more on the bitter Citra notes (away from the more dank, catty side). There's a bit of NEIPA burn, but is a decent medium plus in heft/thickness. Skewed rating a skosh higher due to age, but it seems a solid 4+ and could've been a whole quarter point notch higher fresh.
