Barrel Aged Emperor’s Marshmelatonin started out 16 months ago when we put the original batch into a Willet barrel. Following its time in the barrel, we added a 50/50 blend of toasted and raw biodynamic coconut, as well as a generous helping of marshmallows. Barrel Aged Emperor’s Marshmelatonin pours decadently with traces of coconut oil slicks and mocha foam. Flavors of Devil’s Food Cake batter laced with Coco Lopez cream of coconut, French vanilla macaroons, and caramel-coated frosted marshmallows come together and morph into a luxurious texture with a light toasted bourbon char and a Rolo-like finish that will have you in Emperor mode with just a few sips.
