On a recent trip to the Twin Cities, our conversations with Timmy gave us inspiration to make a Minnesota honey infused stout along with our first use of Stroopwafels. We didn’t stop there, also adding honey roasted peanuts, and Ghost Bear coffee (see a theme yet?) from our mutual friend, Mike and the Mostra team. Minnesota is a top 10 leading honey producing state so we made this beer with actual Minnesota wildflower honey before adding the rest of the adjuncts.
Ursus Major pours a thick pitch black with a beautiful cascading mocha brown cap. Deep saturated flavors of chocolate syrup laced with Reese’s puff cereal, double espresso peanut lattes, and waffle cone batter finish with a lovely sweet whipped honey cream.

8 ball black with a short tan head that recedes to a finely curled ring clinging uniformly all the way around the glass.
It's Horus sweet and doesn't taste much like the Stroop, but peanut butter characteristics help save it with a slightly balancing savory earthiness.
