It was a somewhat foamy pour that emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. That soon receded into an off-white head, leaving significant glass lacing. The color of the liquid is copper-amber, of a lighter shade and it's mildly hazy. The aroma is grainy sweet, no doubt enhanced by the alcohol. Behind that is a hint of resinous hops. It's taste is pleasant and considering the ABV, the body is rich enough and smooth. It is relatively sweet and the hops don't do much to add a counterbalance. That also means there's no taste transition, what is tasted upfront is how it finishes. Yet, this is one very pleasant beer drinking experience. The 10% ABV is remarkably disguised. There's just enough hops to reach an acceptable level, there. The body is good enough that this could go down too quickly, considering. There's even some nice stratified lacing left inside the vessel to contemplate as the beer buzz kicks in. Wow! There's even some sediment at the finish.

Underwhelming but, in fairness, this was canned five months ago. So, I suspect much of nose has faded as well as the taste. Seemed a little “heavy” to me.

Pours a hazed honey color with a thumb of eggshell colored head. Average-ish head retention & fantastic lacing
S: A lot of citrus, a little pineapple & melon
T: Mangoes, guava, a little pineapple & some lime, plus dryness up front. Sweet oranges, a little leafy hop, dryness & pineapples as this beer warms up. Finishes a little dry with pineapple, oranges & lime, plus a little leafy hop
MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, nice balance. Carbonation picks up a bit as this beer warms up
ABV is well hidden, very drinkable
