Three expressions of lime grace Lime Cubed, our latest collab with Mortalis Brewing. Using a new experimental pilsner yeast we learned about on a recent trip to Rochester, Lime Cubed was brewed with large of amount of flaked maize and then dry hopped with the lime-forward Motueka hop before we added lime juice and lime zest. Pouring a bright golden yellow, aromas of Five Alive and limeade are met with beautiful flavors of zippy lime, Brawndo brand electrolytes, 7-Up, and bright hops with a crisp, dry, and refreshing pilsner malt character we all love in our crispies.

Lime Cubed pours a clear, golden color with a very large, long-lasting head. The aroma has notes of tart lime. The flavor is filled with actual lime notes, and it is a bit tart from the limes. Good feel. Overall, it's a big lime beer.

Lime Cubed? Huh? Is there actually lime in this? There’s a faint rumor of an indefinite tartness way in the background… could be a pinch of circus acid for all one could tell. Zest? None of that perceptible here.
You would think with a name like lime *CUBED* you’d be in for some kind of Limesplosion but this is just… a beer. A pleasant enough beer. It’s not bad. It’s light and crisp and summery and would probably go great with… a slice of lime.
