For the first time, we are happy to introduce Barrel Aged Even Caramel Sundaes, our collaboration with @3sonsbrewingco. A little more than 28 months ago, we tucked the first base of Even Caramel Sundaes away in two Blanton’s barrels. Following the time in barrels, we blended both barrels and conditioned the beer on caramel, double almonds, Madagascar vanilla, and marshmallow. With a boozy ice cream shake aroma, Barrel Aged Even Caramel Sundaes has rich flavors of soaked caramel almond brownies and toasted almond pops dipped in marshmallow fluff with a boozy backbone and a melted ice cream finish complemented by a touch of oak making this the barrel aged ice cream treat dreams are made of.

Sweet chocolate covered caramel, vanilla ice cream, slightly nutty, and a subdued bourbon barrel nose on this one! Sundae vibe aromatics! Taste follows somewhat with a chocolate and vanilla bourbon barrel swallow. As it warms, some almond-nuttiness peeks out more. This is decent, but finishes a touch short and lacks full flavor on backend IMO. It hides the 15% ABV well, but needs the full flavor profile to linger a bit more.
