Tasman Skies pours saturated yellow with intense aromas of guava orange juice, orange jelly, and grasslands. We are getting big flavors of guava candy, Five Alive juice drink, lime wedges, assorted citrus PEZ, POG medley, and dank grassy white pepper. The hoppy rollercoaster ride of flavors finsihes with a pop of #EQjuice rainbow melon and the perfect amount of hoppy resin character to balance it all out making this is a true testament to all of the amazing products available to breweries today.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy lasting head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, stone fruit, citrus hops, with notes of guava, honeydew melon, apricot and orange. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly floral and resinous hops, with tropical, stone fruit and lighter citrus notes of guava, papaya, honeydew melon, apricot, orange and tangerine, as well as just a hint of potpourri and pine. Finishes with a light bitterness and some guava, melon and apricot lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This one has a slightly odd, but not unpleasant flavor profile to it that feels rather sweet, with the fruity expressions almost taking on a candied note. It also has strong notes of apricot and melon, which I get relatively rarely. Based on this flavor profile, I would bet that El Dorado hops make up a significant portion of the hop bill here, while there are also some citrus and even slighly resinous accents to be found here. Overall, this is not really for me, but certainly makes for an interesting and enjoyable brew.

On tap at the Equilibrium Brewery Bonfire Taproom in Middletown, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like Goya nectar, cotton candy, bubble gum, marijuana, and citrus candy.
This is a little bit too sweet and juicy, but it’s undeniably tasty. I want just the slightest bitterness here. It’s very candy-like here, with a soft sweetness that’s really, really reminiscent of cotton candy in a way that I don’t entirely love.
This is very soft, pillowy, but a little bit thin on the finish, without any balancing bitterness.
This wasn’t my favorite Equilibrium IPA I’ve had, but it was still enjoyable enough.
