After another big boil, this viscous base beer was aged in Stagg Jr. barrels for 24 months. We then added raw and toasted coconut, black and white cookies, Bolivian cacao nibs, and Madagascar vanilla. Barrel Aged Triple Singularity pours pitch black with a quickly dissipating foam cap and coexisting aromas of rich chocolate, bake-shop macaroons, toasted marshmallow, and oak. Decadent flavors of under-cooked rich doughy brownies, high-quality hot cocoa powder, coconut creme brûlée with a perfectly torched sugar crust, coconut custard pie, and liquid caramel all come together in a weighted finish that coats the palate just before a boozy pop of bourbon enters the chat.

Sweet milk chocolate, Oreo cookies, coconut, and a bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a thicc and viscous, chocolate cookie and fudge brownie, vanilla-coconut, and a bourbon barrel, slightly boozy finish. The barrel is there, but it doesn't hit you upside the head or anything. Also, if the coconut popped more and the barrel was a touch more significant, I think this would have been a little more balanced and enjoyable. There is nothing particularly spectacular, but still tasty and pretty good!
